Returned but Changed

Wed Aug 6, 2008, 12:12 PM
Hey guys! If you didn't know, I changed my account to :iconforwardess:

Anyway, I've decided to come back to my old account ONLY to upload my photos. I'd like people to see my artwork but it's really hard to get the recognition if my gallery is spammed with pages of random photographs to hide my bootiful arts. So, I'm bringing this account back for photos only. Come here fore the pictchas and go to :iconforwardess: for artss.

I'll be checking both account frequently but please send messages to my Forwardess account. If you don't, don't worry - I won't bite you.

You were reading Dragon Sword and Wind Child at one point. I run the English fansite for the series and I was wondering, how did you like the book?

Color of the Sky? If so, it's in my bookmarks and I check it every now and then. I found the book at my library some odd years ago (4-5 prolly) and I loved it. When I found the fansite I almost jumped out of my chair cause I was so happy I could read it whenever wanted to. Lovely work.

Love love loved it - absolutely brilliant. Ogiwara-san is a genius.

Yup.
I know Cathy Hirano (the translator). Originally, her daughter found the fansite and showed it to her. Viz found COLOR OF THE SKY, too, and decided to contact Cathy about re-translating the book.

Now we're just keeping our fingers crossed the DSWC can generate enough revenue in its second printing for Viz to bring the rest of the trilogy into English. :D Hirano-san's translating the sequels right now. She's also busy working on the Moribito sequence for Scholastic/Arthur A. Levine (editors of Harry Potter).

Here's a couple of associated clubs here on dA:
